I’ve never understood the smart car. Sucks anywhere there is snow and would you really want to end up on the business end of a car crash in one of these?

First, its a Smart ForTwo, or just a Smart, not a “smart car”. You don’t call Mustangs “Ford Cars”, or Camaros “Chevy Cars”, do you? Second, they don’t get stuck in snow very easily – only morons that don’t know how to drive in snow get them stuck. Third, they are pretty good in accidents. The driver and passenger usually walk away, unless they get crushed between two objects.

Ever seen one when it veered into the opposite lane and smacked head-on into a Ford Ranger @ 50 mph? Nothing larger that you couldn’t haul away in a large shopping bag except for the poor excuse for an engine. I was there, I helped toss the parts up onto a roll-back wrecker for transport to a junkyard. ‘Smart-car’ occupants=0(it was fatal, and the fault for the accident as well), Ford Ranger driver=1
