MISSED A SPOT

I challenge you all to show us a worse paint job than this. What kills me is that for every half painted board, there was a conscious decision to move on to the next one.

It’s simply due to chipping, and not being lazy. Time does that to older homes.

It could be he is priming the bare spots where he scraped the paint.

you got that right DR, the problem being that all of the existing paint will be BLISTERING sooner than later what is needed is to use a heat gun to remove all of the paint and then power spray on sealer stainkill after having repaired any cracks, nail spots, or rotten boards. This is just one of the issues killing older houses and this is just the outside of the house the inside has way more issue of major health and safety issues to deal with.

I am betting that is primer and they wanted to get it onto the more damaged boards before winter set in. Maybe they’ll finish in the spring…but I am an optimist.
