Or they could be day sleepers. A lot of people work nights and the aluminum foil blocks out all the sunlight. They may want deliveries taken around back because their bedroom may be in the front and they are trying to sleep. Just guesses, but I’ve known a few people that do that.

I see that they also have a window unit for AC. A lot of people around where I live will line the windows with tinfoil for insulation against the heat in summer… But they also typically cover their windows with plastic in winter…
