I honestly cannot imagine anybody being dumb enough to actually TRY to feed an alligator, although after following this site for a while, I’m not sure why I still feel that way. Not too long after the Baltimore Aquarium opened, a man reached up to put his hand into a fish tank that was at eye-level. The tank was clearly labeled “Piranha” and was placed to make it difficult to reach, but he tried to sue the City when he got bitten. He lost.
