I told a woman the other day that leaving her cart in an empty handicapped spot was rude and ignorant. I was told to fuck off, go to hell and then given the finger in front of my children. People are unbelievable!
I have to agree. I HATE people who are too lazy to put the carts into a cart corral. They just let them in the lot and then they roll and hit a person’s car. It really doesn’t make a person ignorant at all, but it does make them lazy and arrogant.
Ignorant is using the word as an insult when the proper word to be used is not ignorant.
I actually have a complaint on this issue. If you drive a truck with an open bed, do you really want to put all of your purchases into the back, and then walk away (probably rather far away, and having to turn your back on your now-filled truck bed) to return the empty shopping cart to the store front or a shopping cart drop-off point? Because leaving your stuff in your truck bed unattended is just asking for someone to steal it. If you live in a region where this isn’t a concern, you are blessed.
Hap, how long does it take to walk fifty feet to the corral? If you drive a pickup and put the rear gate back after you’ve finished unloading your groceries, a person would have to climb, jump, or be VERY tall to swipe anything from your truck. Sorry, that excuse won’t wash.
I have children, there is no way in hell I am walking ten feet away (let alone fifty or more) to put a cart into a corral. It also keeps people employed. Don’t act like a super hero for putting it in a little corral either, want to do something nice, walk it back to the store!
a little breeze is all that needed to send one of these thing right into your car. but hey along as you dont want to walk 20 feet to put one up its all good. hope karma hits your vehicle with a shopping cart, or mows your but down as your walking away being lazy

My 22 year old son HATES this. He calls people who do this “carters”. Every time we go shopping any parking lot… FU@KIN CARTERS!
