When I was 16, I was getting a ride to a distant relative’s house for the first time (with his family). It was nighttime, and I saw a house with it’s Christmas lights not only still up, but on. This was during Memorial Day weekend. I said, “Look at these idiots with their Christmas lights still on.” It turned out to be their house.
